最高级形容词前 the 的用法

最高级形容词前通常用 the；如果前面已有物主限定词等，就不能一概再加 the。比如：

• the oldest
• the tallest
• the fastest
• the greatest

最高级后面可以用 of 短语说明比较范围：

• the best film of the 1980s
• the oldest of the five friends
