泛指下午时，常用 in the afternoon

泛指“在下午”时，常用 in the afternoon，不用 at the afternoon。

但不能把它当成所有情况的规则：说某个具体的下午时，可以用 on，例如 on Monday afternoon 或 on a rainy afternoon。是否加 the，也要看具体表达。
