competition可数还是不可数？

competition这个词既可以可数，也可以不可数。

可数时，指一系列比赛或大家互相较量的场合：

• The school holds a competition at the end of the semester.（学校学期末会举办一场比赛。）
• Competitions are a great way for athletes to demonstrate their skills.（比赛是运动员展示能力的好方式。）

不可数时，指“竞争”这件事本身：

• Competition is useful for children but they also need to learn cooperation.（竞争对孩子有好处，但他们也需要学会合作。）
