possible / impossible 后接不定式的用法

在 it is possible/impossible to do... 这个句型里，用不定式表示某个动作可能或不可能：

🔸It's impossible to understand his handwriting!
🔸It is possible to find a solution, but it is not easy.
🔸The noise outside made it impossible to concentrate on my work.
🔸It is possible to change the design, but it will be quite expensive.
🔸It's impossible to please everyone, no matter how hard you try.
🔸It's possible to learn a new language at any age.

这两种词还有别的用法。比如 it is possible/impossible that...

🔸It is possible that he forgot.

也可以直接说某件事 is 或 seems possible / impossible：

🔸This exam is too hard. In fact, I think it's impossible!
🔸It may seem impossible, but actually I think it can be done.
